Credit Card sensitive information will not be stored in our transaction
database. We will not hold nor store credit card numbers online. Pop

feels there is no need to keep this information online
after the transaction is approved and processed.

SSL, which stands for Secure Socket Layer, is an industry-standard process of
passing sensitive information between computers. SSL is often used to securely
transfer credit card numbers and other sensitive information across the
Internet. SSL binds a person's or a computer's identity to a pair of electronic
keys. These keys can be used to encrypt and digitally "sign" information to
prove its authenticity. SSL and Digital IDs together provide a complete security
solution, assuring the identity of all parties involved in an online
transaction.
Pop Goes America uses SSL. This can be verified if you are using current
Netscape or Internet Explorer browsers. By looking at your browser window, if
you see a lock thats highlighted in yellow, then SSL is currently active. Your
order and sensitive information can then be sent securely.

Information Pop Goes America Gathers and Tracks:
Pop Goes America gathers two types of information about users: data that

Signups: This is an optional feature. When a customer signs up, the
information is held in a secure database. This option is useful for customers
who have logged in and do not wish to re-input their "Ship To:" and "Bill To:"
information each time they order. There is no Credit Card information stored
here nor is it needed. The e-mail information can sometimes be used for opt in
newsletters from Pop Goes America.

Contact and Order Information: Our web site uses order forms for
customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's
contact information (such as email address) and financial information (such as
credit card numbers). Contact information from these order forms is used to
fulfill orders to our customers. The customer's contact information from these
forms is used to get in touch with the customer when necessary. Credit
Card information is deleted and never stored in our online database.
Cookies:
What are cookies? Data that enables a web server to recognize a user and
tailor information that server sends to the user's client when a user returns to
a web site for a second time. When the user first visits a web page, a block of
information (cookie) is stored onto the user's software. When the user returns
to that web page the cookie is sent back to the web server enabling the server
to distinguish the user. Cookies can make Web-surfing easier for you by saving
your passwords, purchases, and preferences while you're at a site. The use of

Pop Goes America uses cookies for the customers use of our Shopping Cart
Software. Without this the shopping baskets and ordering our products online
would not be possibly. We do not track or use cookies for any other reason.
